Senani Products, Sri Lanka’s leader of Goraka cream was recently recognised by Sri Lanka Chamber of Small and Medium Industries (SLCSMI) as the winner of the Woman Entrepreneur award for ‘National Excellence’.
The ceremony was held at Ramada Hotel, Colombo, where Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy was chief guest.
The Chamber held the annual flagship event ‘Industrial Excellence Awards’ recently with the aim of recognising SMEs for their achievements and contribution build to Sri Lanka’s economy. Speaking on the achievement, Senani Products Owner Jenika Senani said: “We are proud to be honoured by SLCSMI, to be ranked amongst some of the most elite local companies in Sri Lanka. We are extremely happy about our dedicated and committed staff who have been the foundation of our company’s success continuously. Having been highlighted for being a positive role model for local manufacturing, it is a great honour and it cements our status as a company to emulate in Sri Lanka.”
