SLRA launches Sri Lanka’s first Retailers’ Forum

16 May 2017 12:00 am

The Sri Lanka Retailers’ Association (SLRA) will be organising the Sri Lanka Retailers’ Forum, which will be the first and foremost retail forum organised in Sri Lanka, and also is one of the flagship events the SLRA has lined up for the year 2017.
The forum is organised as a means of achieving the SLRA’s vision and mission. The SLRA aims to be the apex body of the retail industry in Sri Lanka with an ambitious vision of ‘achieving retail excellence’ by being the ‘voice of the retail industry in Sri Lanka’.
The Retailers’ Forum will take place on September 12 and 13, 2017, at Cinnamon Grand Hotel and is focussed to address the areas that will take the retail industry forward in Sri Lanka.
The Retail Forum will focus mainly on the emerging trends of retail both locally and globally, find answers to the current burning issues in the industry and share innovative best practises of retail. This forum will be graced by top local and international retail expert speakers and invitees from across the globe who will share their industry knowledge with the local veterans.
The SLRA, representing all leading retailers, is convinced that the forum will be an event of immense benefit to the entire retail industry in Sri Lanka.
The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), the SLRA Secretariat, undertook the management of the entire forum from conceptualization to complete event management and the post-forum feedback. An agreement in this regard was signed between the SLRA and CCC on May 5, 2017, at the CCC premises.
