Sri Lanka has been invited to deliver the keynote address at the fourth High-Level Dialogue on Financing for Development in Asia and the Pacific, a Finance Ministry statement said.
The official invitation in this regard was handed over to Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake by the Executive Secretary of the United Nation’s Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, Shamshad Akhtar, last week.

Accordingly, Minister Karunanayake is scheduled to participate in the proposed summit to be held on April 28-29 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Finance Ministry statement said Sri Lanka was offered this opportunity due to its commitment to good governance and strong financial discipline.
