National Chamber to hold seminar on Central Bank and business potential

A very informative seminar on how the Central Bank could help the business community and the business potential will be addressed by the senior officials of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on Thursday, November 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the chamber auditorium, No: 450, D R Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 7. 


Topics that would be discussed are:
Exchange rate policy and foreign reserves management.
Investment in government securities.
Role of the Central Bank in promoting SMEs in Sri Lanka and the different loan schemes available for SMEs. 


The target group is business owners, bankers, SME entrepreneurs, exporters and importers and financial analysts.


The resource persons from the Central Bank would be Deputy Director Economic Research Dr. D.S.T.  Wanaguru, Deputy Director Economic Research Dr. R.A. Anil Perera, Public Debt Department Senior Manager L.R.C. Pathberiya and Regional Development Department Senior Assistant Director M.C.D. de Silva
