The National Human Resource Development Council organized a lecture on ‘Good Governance and the Role of the Public Service’ for senior public servants at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Tourism recently.
This lecture was delivered by PIM former Permanent Secretary and current Director Dr. Lloyd Fernando and PIM Management Consultant Samantha Rathnayake. About 120 participants from various ministries, departments and semi-government institutions were participated and good response was received from them. Both speakers highlighted the need for new ways of working in the public sector.
