Moody’s Analytics inks deal with BOI to expand IT-enabled services

Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. has signed a supplementary agreement with the Board of Investment (BOI) to expand its IT-enabled services. 
The expansion project will provide IT-enabled research and analysis services for export, provide editorial, desktop processing and compliance services, financial training, research, research and analysis services in respect of overseas and local securities and companies. 


Under the project, Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will expand its activities by leasing out part of the 15th floor in the West Tower of the World Trade Centre.
“This expansion is the result of a mandate to provide credit analysis and research support services for corporate lending teams of marquee European banks. The expansion will result in an increase of over 100 employees for the company over the coming months and in 2020,” Moody’s Pvt Ltd. Country Head Chanakya Dissanayake said.


Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. has been operating since 2003 and currently employs over 250 investment industry professionals. 


The company provides offshore research support services to leading global investment banks and asset management firms in the areas of equity, fixed income and quantitative research. 
These operations are currently housed across level 15, 32 and 36 of the West Tower of World Trade Centre in Colombo.
