Korean Ambassador in Sri Lanka Woonjin Jeong met with the newly appointed Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Sanjaya Mohottala this week at the BOI premises.
The Ambassador was accompanied for this meeting by the Korean Businessmen’s Association and the Korean Resident’s Association.
The Ambassador and the Korean Business delegation initially conveyed their best wishes to Mohottala for his appointment as the new BOI Chairman.
The discussion was mainly on facilitating the existing Korean companies in Sri Lanka more effectively, specially for the Korean businessmen who are facing difficulties due to the current situation with COVID-19. The BOI Chairman agreed to expedite the resolution process of the challenges faced by existing Korean investors.
