Kone expands Lankan operations via agreement with Scan Technologies

Kone, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has expanded its operations in the Sri Lankan market and have entered into a distribution agreement with Scan Technologies Global Private Limited, which has over ten years of experience in installing, maintaining and servicing elevators and escalators, holds a joint media conference at Hilton Colombo. 


Speaking on the occasion, Amit Gossain, Managing Director, Kone Elevator India, said, “Urbanization is what drives our industry and the Sri Lankan market has been growing quite well in the last few years. The need for taller buildings, affordable homes, luxury hotels etc are the key factors that have been driving growth in this part of the world.
