The 24th Interbank Quiz competition organised by the Clearing Association of Bankers was held at The Kingsbury, Colombo recently. Thirty eight teams participated in the competition, representing commercial and savings banks as well as non-banking financial institutions. The principal sponsor of the event was Deutsche Bank and co-sponsors were Pronto Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd and Transnational Group. HNB ‘A’ team became champions for the second consecutive year while People’s bank ‘A’ and HNB ‘B’ teams secured their places as the first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
