The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to launch its report, ‘World Employment and Social Outlook – Trends 2017’, on January 12th.
This year’s edition provides forecasts for global unemployment in 2017 and 2018, as well as unemployment levels in developed, emerging and developing economies, with detailed charts and numbers.
The report also focuses on the quality of jobs and vulnerable forms of employment, and looks at their impact on social discontent and the willingness to migrate.
It provides policy guidance on boosting economic growth and decent work opportunities around the world.
