Huawei powers Sri Lanka Super Sevens Rugby Tournament

Huawei, the leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider and the fastest growing smartphone brand in Sri Lanka, came forth as the Gold sponsor for the Sri Lanka Super Sevens Rugby Tournament this year. 


The inaugural Dialog Axiata Sri Lanka Super Rugby Sevens Tournament  2016 is organised by the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) and will kicked off yesterday and would conclude today at the Racecourse Grounds in Colombo with the second leg to be held from August 12–13 at the same venue.

Eight club teams will be in action where local players have been offered the opportunity to play with the world’s best players. The participation of top class international ruggerites from New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and England will also be adding excitement to the event this year. Each team will be entitled to field three foreign players. Along with the Club tournament, eight school teams will also participate in the tournament under the “Schools” category.
