Hans to take helm of Ceylon Chamber

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the commencement of its 181st year on June 28 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, to coincide with its Annual General Meeting and the induction of Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya as the Chairperson for the year 2019/20.

A novel feature that will follow the AGM and the induction ceremony will be a panel discussion on the very topical subject, ‘The Role of Business in Sustainable Economic Resurgence’, featuring Robina Marks, High Commissioner for South Africa in Sri Lanka, Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne, Founder of the Sarvodyaya Shramadana Movement and Mahesh Amalean, Chairman of MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd.

The discussion will be moderated by Ganaka Herath, Managing Partner, McKinsey Sri Lanka.
