Browns Exide, a market leader in automotive batteries in Sri Lanka, has come forward as principal sponsors of the S. Thomas’ College Rugby Season this year. Exide takes this opportunity as an endeavour in supporting and strengthening the sport Rugby among the youth in Sri Lanka. As the principal sponsors of S. Thomas’ College Rugby, Exide will have branding rights of the Jerseys of the College rugby teams during all tournaments. To signify with the sponsorship, the Jersey Handover ceremony was held on the 17th of March 2016. S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia, established in 1851, is one of the oldest and prestigious colleges in Sri Lanka. Rooted in deep history, tradition, values and integrity the institution has come a long way in the field of sports and holds steadfast to its reputation of producing true gentleman imbibed with the legendary Thomian Spirit.
