Etisalat Lanka has taken the initiative to provide free reloads for pre-paid customers and an increase in credit limit for post-paid customers who have been affected by the natural disaster that hit Sri Lanka.
One main issue faced is obtaining reloads and recharging cards in flood-affected areas. Hence, Etisalat has opened up the toll-free number 722 for victims to call and obtain free credit.
Customers can dial ‘722’ to receive 10-minute talk time to any Etisalat number and five-minute talk time to other networks free of charge. This service is available only for the flood-affected areas.
Additionally, Etisalat customers can gift credit from their Etisalat wallet to a friend who is affected. Etisalat has waved off the transaction fee of this service. To gifting credit *345 has to be dialled.
With the present situation in mind, Etisalat’s initiative is aimed at helping these individuals to keep in touch with their loved ones without
any difficultly.
