The ninth Ease of Doing Business Forum organised by the Finance Ministry will be held at 2:00 p.m. today at the 4th Floor auditorium of Miloda, Academy of Financial Studies, (Old Times Building), Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha, Colombo 1.
The forum will be chaired by Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake.
Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, Public Enterprise Development Minister Kabir Hashim, Development Strategies and International Trade Minister Malik Samarawickrama, Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy and Treasury Secretary Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunga will also be present at the forum to provide the expertise for resolving issues. The forum will provide a live platform to address the procedural and regulatory issues and facilitate in finding on-the-spot solutions to uplift the doing-business environment in Sri Lanka. The Finance Ministry invites the private sector establishments and the public to participate in this forum.
The Finance Ministry has held the forum since May 2015.
