Top professional Dinesh Weerakkody has resigned from the director board of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC), with effect from July 15, 2018.
Weerakkody was appointed to the CTC board as a Non-Executive Director in July 2014.
The CTC filing did not indicate any reasons for the resignation.
Weerakkody currently serves as Chairman of Hatton National Bank PLC.
He also serves on the director boards of a number of listed and unlisted firms and is Chairman of the National Human Resource Development Council of Sri Lanka.
He is also Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka.
