Damro opens largest showroom in Sri Lanka

Damro Group, South Asia’s leading furniture retailer opened its largest showroom in Sri Lanka in Katubedda recently as it is on a major expansion drive throughout the country. 


The newest showroom has been created in such a way that the customer can spend plenty of time to select his or her item.  According to the Damro management, the concept of a showroom of this nature showcases that its main priority is customer satisfaction and customer convenience. 


It is planning to establish new mega showrooms in Galle this year. In 2018 it is planning to establish similar mega showrooms in Colpetty, Kandy, Grandpass, Wattala, Ja-ela, Malabe, Gampaha, Matara, Kaduruwela, Moneragala, Marawila, Kiribathgoda and Nittabuwa. 


In the newly opened five storied showroom in Katubedda, a free and spacious environment has been created for the valued customer to select their products more easily and conveniently.


This 50,000 square feet mega showroom consists of five stores in five floors. There are over 70 sofa sets and over 50 bedroom sets available in display with varieties of models and colours
Household items from the veranda to the kitchen such as sofas, bedroom sets, spring and foam mattresses, plastic furniture, kids furniture, house decorating items, office furniture, hotel and restaurant furniture safe under the Damro brand and also home appliances under reputed brands including Innovex, Panasonic, Pioneer, Hisense are exclusively available for potential buyers.  


Although parking facilities are very fewer in urban environments like Nugegoda, the notable feature of this showroom is the presence of customer dedicated car park to facilitate customers’ long stay at the showroom to satisfy their requirements. Since its inception in 1986, the furniture retailer now has over 170 showrooms in the country and another 68 in India as well. As a part of its expansion drive, it is planning to open similar mega showrooms in India as well.
