BOC celebrates 80th anniversary tomorrow

The eightieth anniversary ceremony of Bank of Ceylon (BOC), that has rendered a historically significant service contributing to the economy and social development of the country, will commence at the BMICH conference hall tomorrow (July 30th), under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera too will grace this occasion with the presence BOC Chairman Ronald C. Perera, board of directors and the CEO/General Manager Senarath Bandara.   

Leveraging on the strength gathered over eight decades, BOC has continued to dominate the Sri Lankan banking landscape at many different levels. 


It is the bank that is involved in uplifting every socio-economic stratum in Sri Lanka by comprehensively penetrating into the everyday life of Sri Lankans as a household brand.
Currently BOC is a major contributor to economic and social development by fostering good governance and ensuring that banking services are made available to every socio-economic group in the country.
