Abans rewards annual Christmas carol competition winners

Abans recently held its Christmas carol competition at Abans Elite Welisara. 
Having been conducted by Abans Elite Welisara for 14 consecutive years, this event not only embraces the spirit of the Christmas season but also provides loyal customers the opportunity to showcase their musical talent and win amazing prizes.
Over 250 individuals participated in the competition with a qualified panel of three people namely, Father Rajan Priyadarshana from Basicilia Church, Vishara Prasad Kumarathunga from Viskha Vidyalaya and Perly Visidagama judging the proceedings of the event.
Five teams were provided with prize money from Abans for their musical achievements. 
St. Mary’s Church Nayakakanada was adjudged the winner of the competition for their creative take on popular Christmas carols, while the second place prize was awarded to St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church Ragama. 
Further, the third place prize was awarded to St. Sebastian Church Enderamulla. Lastly, the fourth and fifth places were awarded to St. Sebastian Shrine Kandana and Mount Carmel Church Hendala, respectively.
The Abans Christmas carol competition brought great seasonal cheer and joy to the individuals who participated in the event, while allowing them to express themselves in a creative, musical manner.
