New appointments for Rubber Development Officers

For the first time in the history of Rubber Development Department, 83 Rubber Development Officers received new appointments recently. The ceremony was held at the National Institute of Plantation Management, Athurugiriya (NIPM). Minister of Plantation Industries Navin Dissanayake, the Chief Guest of the event and Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries Lakshman Wasantha Perera handed over the appointment letters to 
the officers.
Secretary to the Ministry of Plantation Industries Upali Marasinghe, Director General of Rubber Development Department R. B. Premadasa, Chairman of the NIPM Deepthi Abeywickrama were also attended the event.
