Colombo Port container handling volumes up

Container handling progressing at Colombo International Container Terminal (CICT) on a gloomy evening in the backdrop of temporarily halted Colombo Port City project.  

Total container volume handled at the Colombo Port in the first five months of this year increased 3.5 percent to 418,244 TEUs compared with the same period of the previous year, the latest Central Bank data showed.
