Hambantota Mayor arrested

Hambantota Mayor Eraj Fernando has been arrested by the police special Investigation unit for allegedly assaulting a suspect while in the Ambalantota police custody, Police said.

The suspect is to be produce before Hambantota Magistrate court today.
