World record attempt drives man to hospital

A 31-year old man attempting to set a world record by letting 10 vehicles to be driven on his body was hospitalized after the third vehicle suddenly stopped on his belly.

Janaka Kanchana Mudalinayake, a resident of Hanguranketha had been prepared for his world record at a ceremony held at Port Centre where Ports and Shipping Minister Arjuna Ranatunga and Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara attended.

The driver of a double cab had mistakenly stopped the vehicle on the man’s body and he had been admitted to National Hospital after being injured.
It is reported that his condition is not critical.
