Windies bat against Sri Lanka in T20 final

West Indies captain Darren Sammy won the toss and elected to bat against hosts Sri Lanka in the final of the World Twenty20 Cricket 2012 here at the Premadasa Stadium on Thursday.

Sri Lanka made one change from the side that beat Pakistan in the semi-final, bringing in 20-year-old spinner Akila Dananjaya in place of Rangana Herath.

West Indies did not made any change in the team which defeated Australia in the second semi-final on Friday
