Wigneswaran to take oaths before MR

Retired Supreme Court Judge and Northern Province Chief Minister elect, C.V. Wigneswaran will take oaths before President Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Chief Minister on October 7, at the Temple Trees, the TNA said.

TNA Spokesman MP Suresh Premachandran said the Chief Minister elect will take oaths before the President after todays discussion between the President and TNA Leader R. Sambanthan

The Minister appointees of the council will take oaths before Justice Wigneswaran on October 11, in Jaffna.

Sources said the meeting between the leader of the TNA and the Presidents took place after Sambanthan had called the Secretary to the President Lalith Weerathunge last evening and requested to meet the President to discuss the arrangements for the swearing in of the Chief Minister
