The movement of heavy traffic was reported in the Town Hall area and Slave Island as the main opposition UNP started to march to Hyde Park grounds in two groups from Darley Road and from Slave Island.
 

The UNP and the Trade Unions led by Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna and  opposition political parties and organisations in the ‘Vipakshaya Virodhaya’ will hold the rally at the Hyde Park Grounds this evening against state oppression, corruption and to push for the abolishment of the Executive Presidential system.
