UPFA wins Matale

The ruling UPFA has won the General Elections in the Matale District by obtaining 131,069 votes and securing 4 seats while the UNP has obtained 55,737 votes and secured 1 seat. The Democratic National Alliance secured 7,636 votes and did not obtain any seats.
