UPFA retains Eastern PC

United People's Freedom Alliance won the Eastern Provincial Council with 2000,44 votes with 14 seats. The TNA has secured 11 seats in the council with 193,827 votes. Sri Lanka Muslim Congress has obtained 132,917 votes with 7 seats, UNP has obtained 74901 votes with four seats while NFF obtained 9522 votes with one seat.
