UNP tops Colombo, secures 11 seats

The United National Party (UNP) obtained 640, 743 votes from Colombo district and won 11 seats while UPFA obtained 474, 063 votes with seven seats.

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) received 81, 391 votes and won one seat from the Colombo district.
