A meeting attended by opposition leader Ranil Wickremasighe at the Galle district office of the UNP had to be called off halfway today after several UNP Provincial Councilors disrupted the proceedings when the party leader started to speak.
The UNP Provincial Councilors requested an opportunity to present their opinions during UNP leaders’ speech which was declined. Thereafter an argument between several UNP members took place and the meeting had to be concluded.
