Unidentified fever kills two

An unidentified fever has claimed the lives of two people in Matara. A female graduate teacher from Kataragama (34) and a father of five from Kottegodda (64) died at the Matara Hospital where they were admitted after contracting the fever.

Samples of the patients have been sent for further analysis to the Colombo Medical Research Institute by the
Matara Hospital.  Fever, stomach aches and body pains have been identified as the symptoms of this unidentified form of fever.
