Two women arrested from Wellawatte brothel

Two women aged 28 and 38 were arrested on charges of operating a brothel under the guise of an Ayurvedic Spa at a hotel in Wellawatte, police said.

The arrest was made on a search warrant obtained from the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court.

The suspects are residents of Hanwella and Wattala and will be produced in the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court today.
