Two drunken policemen interdicted

Two policemen attached to the Wellawa police station have been interdicted as they were found under the influence of liquor while on duty, police said. Following information, the Kurunegala SP had sent the Police Seargent and constable for a medical checkup.

After proving that they were under the influence of liquor, the suspects were produced before the Kurunegala Magistrate, who released them on bail.
