Trial against sub agents who sent Rizana to Middle East fixed for January 5

The Colombo High Court today served the indictments on the three sub agents who sent Rizana Nafeek, the house maid who is on death row for killing an infant child of her employer in Saudi Arabia, on January 5, 2012.
 
The contents in the charge sheet were read over and explained to the accused by the Court Interpreter S.A.M. Nafli in Tamil, the language conversant to the accused.
 
Thereafter High Court Judge Sunil Rajapaksa  fixed the trial for January 5, 2012  on the accused Shahul Hameed Mohamadu Abdul Latiff, Pakeer Mohideen Wajurdeen and Kamsa Lebbe Abdul Salam who were accused of  forging documents intentionally and  willfully to a minor and had sent her for foreign employment as a house maid knowing that the woman was a minor at the time of preparing documents.
