Garbage truck on fire creates traffic jam

Traffic congestion was reported on Baseline Road near Ingram Junction in Dematagoda as a garbage-collecting truck caught fire on the road.

Police said the fire had been doused by the fire brigade but traffic congestion was still reported on the Baseline and connecting roads.
