Thurstan principal out

The Principal of Thurstan College, Colombo had been removed from his position and posted to the Education Ministry with effect from today, Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said.

The Minister said this decision was made as he had allegedly threatened a monk who was a member of the school staff.
He said an inquiry would be conducted on the matter.
