Three killed in head on collision

Three people including two women were killed at Ranala on the Kaduwela-Hanwella Road when the motor-bike they were traveling on collided head on with a CTB bus last night, police said.

They said the victims, 22-year-old Samith Dilhan, 37-year-old Nalani Wijerathne and 34-year-old Piyawathi Gunasekara were residents of Ranala in Nawagamuwa.

The driver of the bus was arrested in connection with the accident and was to be produced before the Magistrate today, police said.
