Thinakural distributor attacked

A Thinakural Newspaper distributor was allegedly attacked by a yet unidentified gang this morning at Puttur in Jaffna, Achchuveli Police said.

The victim’s motorbike and the bundle of papers he was taking for distribution had been burnt. He was admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.

The Achchuveli police are conducting further investigations. (Pix by  S.K. Prasad)
