Ten Sri Lankan fishermen, who were arrested by the Indian Coast Guard in two different incidents for allegedly entering Indians waters illegally and fishing last month, have been handed over to police.

On August 31, Coast Guard ship ICGS Vishwast spotted a Lankan fishing boat with five Lankan fishermen on board around 4.20 pm, a Coast Guard release said today.

The boat identified as 'Dhanuska Putha I' also had a fish catch of about 155-kg, it said. (Source: PTI)
