Chief Executive Officer of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), Surekha Sellahewa has tendered her resignation, effective from the 31st of October 2013.

Speaking to Mirror Business, CSE Head of Market Development, Niroshan Wijesundara said that Ms. Sellahewa based her resignation on ‘personal reasons’ in a letter to the CSE dated 1st of July 2013.

Ms. Sellahewa has served as the CEO at the exchange for the last seven years having served in the organisation for a period of over 23 years.(Channa Fernandopulle)
