Sujeewa Senasinghe noticed to appear in Court

Deputy Justice Minister Sujeewa Senasinghe and another person were today noticed to appear in the Homagama Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, August 5 for allegedly violating election laws and obstructing a police officer from carrying out his duties and threatening him.

The Police said illegal procession and using loud speakers without obtaining a licence from the police were also among the charges against the deputy minister.

The Homagama Magistrate had issued the order following a B-Report filed by the Athurugiriya Police. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
