Uni student arrested

The President of the Management and Finance Union of the Ruhuna University, Udaya Wickramanayake was arrested by the Matara Police today for his alleged involvement in holding the Vice Chancellor of the university hostage on June 16th.

The Matara police are also looking for nine others wanted for the Ruhuna University incident.
