Sri Lanka stable at tea

Sri Lanka were 163 for 2 at tea on the fourth day of the second test against Australia, being played at the Pallekele International Stadium in Kandy.
The hosts performed considerably better than it has in any of the other innings of the series so far,with the openers putting in their best stand of 81 runs.

The stand was broken when Tillakaratne Dilshan was caught off the bowling of Shane Watson for 36, and was followed by Tharanga Paranavithana who was caught by Brad Haddin bowled Michael Hussey for 55.

Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene are currently at the crease with  scores of 35 and 13 respectively.
Earlier, Michael Clarke made an aggressive declaration in lieu of the play that might be lost over the next two days, with his team on 411 for 7.
