Sons assault police father

A sergeant of the Ratgama police station who sustained injuries allegedly during a scuffle with his two sons was admitted to Karapitiya hospital. The two suspects had assaulted their father with clubs. Police said one of the suspects was a 15 year old boy.

The Ratgama police arrested one of the suspects and initiated inquiries to arrest the other who was absconding after the incident. (Sumathipala Diyagahage)
