SL elected CTO Chairman

Sri Lanka has been unanimously re-elected as Commonwealth Telecommunication Organisation (CTO) chairman at the 51st council meeting held last week in the Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, a Telecommunication and Regulatory Commission (TRC) spokesman said.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission chairman and presidential secretary Lalith Weeratunga chaired the council meeting at the 50th council meeting held in Colombo last year.

The 51st council meeting was chaired by TRC Director General Anusha Palpita. (SAJ)
