Six arrested over misbehavior

At least six persons including three prison officers were arrested on Saturday night after a fight broke out between two groups at the Negombo beach park, police said.

The police arrested the six persons after they had behaved in an unruly manner leading upto a fight which left one person injured.

The suspects were handed over to the Eththukala police in Negombo and are to be produced before the magistrate. (K.M.Munasa)
