Shashindra Rajapaksa summoned to PCoI

Former Uva Province Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksa has been summoned by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Large Scale Corruption (PCoI) with regard to an allegation of distributing state owned lands in Mahiyangana incurring a loss to the government.

Commission Chairman Lacille De Silva said evidence was recorded from Mr. Rajapaksa and some public officers who were responsible to the incident of irregular distribution of state owned lands and unauthorised constructions in the area. (Ajith Siriwardana)
