Second death on the expressway

The second death on the Southern Expressway was reported a short while ago in the Kahathuduwa area where a lorry toppled after its rear tyre burst killing a 55-year-old person.
The Police said that four others including the driver were injured and rushed to the Horana Hospital. The incident took place near the 8.4 mile post. The vehicle had been heading to Kottawa from Galle at the time of the incident. (Supun Dias)
