Schools closed for A/L paper marking

Thirteen schools including Sirimavo Balika Vidyalaya, Royal, Ananda, Nalanda and Visakha Colleges will be closed for Advanced Level paper evaluations from October 24 to November 6, while a few classes in 17 other schools will also be closed during the same period, the Examinations Department said.

It also said that in 17 other schools, some classes will be held and allowed to carry on with their teaching sessions, while most other classes will be closed till the paper marking comes to an end.

However it also added that they have not yet taken a final decision about the closure of these schools. (JP)
