Inquiries will be made regarding the Saudi maid who had returned to the country with 23 nails inserted into her body, Kingsley Ranawaka, Chairman of the Foreign Employment Bureau told Daily Mirror online
He added that no complaints have been made regarding the said abuse to the Foreign Employment Bureau and that an official will be sent to the Matara hospital where the maid is receiving treatment.
Mr. Ranawaka stated that an inquiry into the alleged abuse will be made first before any investigation takes place as no complaints or details, including the passport number of the woman were known. (Daily Mirror online)
